A Breakthrough in Quantum Control with CHRONOS-Q
A groundbreaking advancement in quantum technology, jointly developed by NTU Singapore and the National University of Singapore, has been spun off into a new deep tech start-up, AQSolotl.
Its flagship product, CHRONOS-Q, is a next-generation quantum controller that seamlessly connects classical computers with quantum systems, enabling users to manage quantum computers directly from their laptops and desktops. Developed by scientists affiliated with Singapore’s Centre for Quantum Technologies, CHRONOS-Q is designed for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency. It determines qubit states in under 14 nanoseconds and features upgradeable firmware for future advancements.
Currently piloted at NTU’s Nanyang Quantum Hub and the National Quantum Computing Hub, this innovation supports Singapore’s vision of becoming a leader in quantum computing. AQSolotl is incubated and supported by NTU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) initiative, which helps transform cutting-edge research into real-world solutions.
